It was a lucky day for NY Red who took first in the 5th at Philadelphia Park, beating a field of 8 that included his stablemate, I Got Vision, who came in last. See Results

NEW YORK RED, well placed close to the pace, moved to the lead from the outside in upper stretch then drew clear under pressure. THEYCALLMEJOHNNY G made a run leaving the far turn then finished willingly to close the gap. YOURHYTHMIC awaited inside room leaving the far turn, moved through into the stretch then needed more. DEPUTY HONOUR was unhurried early then made a run leaving the far turn and finished well. DELAWARE RIDGE rallied mildly in the stretch run. STORMIN JERRY vied for the lead through the far turn then weakened. LUCKYLEAD vied for the lead racing off the inside rail then tired. I GOT VISION showed little.

No Rally for Out At Night at the Meadowlands

NEW FANDAN (BRZ) was content to trail, advanced quickly outside on the far turn, rallied five wide into the stretch and closed strongly to win going away. GIANT CHIEFTAN had a three wide trip, bid on the final turn and finished well between rivals. PICOU raced off the pace inside, moved up three wide on the far turn and finished well outside. MY MAN LARS hopped at the start, stalked three wide, bid entering the final turn, took a short lead and weakened late. SOUTHWEST raced off the pace inside and between rivals, then closed belatedly outside. OUT AT NIGHT raced off the pace between rivals, came three wide into the lane and lacked a rally. UNDISPUTED POINT raced off the rail, between rivals in the stretch and had no rally. ROCKABY BAY set the pace, dug in when challenged and weakened in the final furlong. INDEPENDENT GEORGE tracked inside and tired. CZAR ALEX stalked outside and faded. DUBAI REVIEW saved ground early on and dropped back quickly on the final turn.

PARADE FOR PEACE was unhurried early then started a run heading into the far turn, circled the field seven wide in the middle of the turn then was in a long sustained drive on the outside in the stretch to prove best in the end. BURBERRY BULLET was well placed while racing two wide on the backstretch, rallied three wide on the far turn then was in a strong drive but hung in late stretch. BARCLAY DRIVE was allowed to settle on the backstretch then rallied three wide heading into the turn, made a strong bid while two wide in the stretch drive but hung in late stretch. EIGHTPOINTWO vied for the lead while two wide, was in a long sustained drive then was inside in the stretch drive but tired in late stretch. PEACEFUL PROSPECT lunged at the start then was settled on the backstretch while racing off the rail, rallied six wide on the far turn making a bid but came up empty in the drive. MITEYLIKEAROSE vied for the early lead while inside, was shuffled back then blocked in the middle of the far turn, stayed on the inside and was in good position but lacked a late bid in the stretch. CANELA TWIST was unhurried early and kept to the inside, saved ground on the far turn then faltered in the stretch. JEFF KENTUCKY was unhurried early and inside on the backstretch, settled and saving ground then failed to menace in the stretch. LISTO MAGIC vied for the lead while three wide, was used up then gave way in the stretch. WAITINGFORDAYLIGHT was unhurried early then rallied five wide on the far turn, made a strong bid to upper stretch but flattened out in the drive. LADITUDE was six wide on the first turn and ridden along to go up and vie for the lead while four wide, was used up and stopped on the far turn.

DIVA D’ORO was well handled while setting the pace, drew off in mid stretch then was kept to a strong drive to hold sway in the end. LARRY’S BLUESECRET was allowed to settle on the run down the backstretch, rallied three wide in upper stretch and was gaining ground to finish well but was second best. ONE TOUGH BUCK pressed the early pace while racing two wide, made a bid on the turn then weakened in the stretch drive. DEMIS CLEVERCHANCE was allowed to settle while racing two wide on the backstretch then made a mild gain in the stretch drive. TAPPYHOUR was unhurried early while racing four wide on the backstretch and was no threat in the stretch. KRIS’S IMPULSE was on the inside and saving ground throughout then raced evenly in the stretch. BRAZOS CAT was unhurried early and was no factor throughout. MOON LIT NIGHT failed to menace. INFLAMMABLE was unruly in the post parade then broke in a tangle and showed little. KOBE DOO was through after a half and stopped. LUCKY TERN was outrun. GOING SOUTH broke in the air at the start and was no factor.

HOMEISAHONKEYTONK dueled for the lead while two wide while being well handled, drew off on the far turn then widen that advantage in the stretch while being kept to task in the end. STORM TUNER bobbled slightly at the start then was settled on the run down the backstretch, rallied two wide on the far turn but was no match for the winner in the stretch. DYNAISM dueled for the lead while inside, was hard used then weakened in the stretch. SPIDERMAN RIDGE was unhurried early then raced four wide on the far turn and was no threat. CAT RULER was on the inside on the far turn and failed to menace. BULLETT BLAKE was unhurried early then made a mild rally while four wide in the stretch and was no threat. GRAY SHEIKH trailed throughout while being outrun.
